Answers to common questions.
Find answers about filming guidelines, supported sports, privacy, and how to get started.
Filming guidelines
- Keep the full body in frame (including the implement where applicable—e.g., racket/club).
- Use a stable camera (tripod recommended) and adequate lighting.
- Capture 10–20 seconds with 2–4 repetitions when possible.
- Use a consistent angle per movement (your coach can recommend the best view).
Programs can standardize filming protocols for consistent results across cohorts.
What sports and movements do you support?
PerfectSwingAI supports 8 sport modules today: baseball, tennis, golf, badminton, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer. Common movements include hitting/pitching, serves/groundstrokes, full swing, QB throw, and striking or shooting motions. Additional sports and movements can be supported by defining phases and metric packs.
Do you replace a coach?
No. PerfectSwingAI complements coaching by converting video into objective signals and structured plans. Coaches remain the decision-makers for technique, training load, and athlete development.
Is this medical or injury diagnosis?
PerfectSwingAI provides performance insights and may surface risk-pattern indicators for technique and sequencing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis. If pain or injury is present, consult a qualified professional.
How do organizations pilot?
- Select cohort size and movements (often serve + 1–2 additional movements).
- Standardize templates and report depth by level.
- Run baseline + weekly check-ins (typical: 2–6 weeks).
- Measure outcomes (adoption, coach satisfaction, re-test rates, improvement deltas).
